Hughes Family

The Hughes family was so much fun to photograph. They let Jenny and I drag them up and down the Durham for almost two hours and didn't even complain once (not even when little B had a diaper blowout in the middle of the session)! They were naturals in front of the camera and made it easy to get those lifestyle photos that I love so much. Their little guy was so well behaved and in such a great mood the entire time! Thanks for letting me capture your family and I hope you love these photos as much as I do!

Business news and Lola

I've been pretty busy lately trying to get things together for Shanda Marie Photoraphy to be an actual business! I put a lot of time getting my new website and Facebook fanpages together so check them out. http://www.shandamarie.com/ I also just got my new business cards in the mail and am so excited for all the things that are to come!

This is sweet little Lola. I took her family's pics and big brother Calvin's early this fall when she was still in Mommy's belly! She was such a good little model but wasn't a fan of the hats!

A few of my favorites from some of the families I've photographed this fall.

Kellen

Little Kellen is a good friend of mine, Sarah's, newest addition. He was welcomed home by 2 year old twin sisters, Kenleigh and Khloie. He was a perfect little model for me for over an hour!

Tara round II

I took a few pics of Tara this summer when it was atleast 100 degrees outside! We decided now that the weather was much more tolerable we would go out and get a few more shots. This time we went to Arrowhead park in Neola and the weather was perfect, the light was perfect and the scenery was PERFECT! I'm so glad we decide to go for round two because these ended up being my favorite shots so far!

Gabriel Michael

I had the pleasure of photographing baby Gabriel who was over 10lbs at birth and had the best red hair! He wasn't very cooperative for the first hour or so but finally gave in and let us get a few sleepy shots. Gabriel's mom, Farrah is a fellow photographer and it was a honor that she let me take these photos of her new baby boy!

Emersyn

Sweet little Emersyn was so good through what seemed liked a million outfit changes and the chilly weather! Jenny and I had lots of fund dressing her up and getting her to smile for "twisty bug"

Caldwell Vinyard

Had the pleasure of photographing the Caldwell family grape harvest this past weekend. My friend Jenny is a friend of the Caldwell family and she invited me along to take some photographs. We had a great time with the good old macro lens and taking pics of grapes.

4 months {Ireland}

Had a short little impromptu session with my friend Paulas little girl Ireland. It was in my living room with two toddlers running around so we got just a few shots and called it good! I got to try out the new bucket I bought from the antique store with Jenny.

Tara {Senior}

Anyone who knows me knows that I work at Applebees serving/bartending a few nights a week. When the General Manager of my store asked me to take her daughters senior pics I jumped at the chance. Tara was great and it was nice to take someones pics who isnt running from you for a change! Jenny tagged along and was a great help with the reflector and posing...thanks Jenny!
